The development of air-jet looms must first consider the process of preparation before weaving. The pre-woven process of different products is different. The process of common varieties is introduced as follows.

  1. Winding-warping-staple sizing machine-piercing-weaving

It is suitable for the weaving of grey fabrics with warp yarns. This is the widely used process in China's cotton textile mills. It is suitable for large-volume and low-yield production. Such a process is used for grey fabrics made of pure cotton, polyester/cotton, and viscose staple fibers.

  2. Filament cheese - warping - uniaxial pulp - parallel shaft - piercing - weaving

This is the most common process for filament fabrics. It is suitable for weaving all filament fabrics. It is suitable for large-volume, low-variety production, with a large footprint and greater flexibility.

  3. Filament cheese - whole pulp combined - parallel shaft - through - weaving

Suitable for filament fabrics, but not as flexible as individual filaments. When the warp yarn does not need to be sizing, the yarn drawing process is longer.

  4. Filament bobbin-warping-and shaft-filament-piercing-weaving

It is suitable for most warp filament fabrics. It is characterized by its ability to be used in large quantities and in small varieties. It is difficult for sizing of finer and flawless smooth filaments.

  5. Filament cheese - high temperature and high pressure dyeing - slitting warping - inverted shaft - pulp - piercing - weaving

It is suitable for yarn-dyed filament fabrics. It is characterized by small batches and multiple colors, but it is difficult to sizing through dense warp yarns.

  6. Filament cheese - high temperature and high pressure dyeing - slitting pulping (combined) - inverted shaft - piercing - weaving

Suitable for yarn-dyed filament fabrics, the quality of the pulp is good.

  7. Spun yarn yarn dyeing - slitting warping - inverted shaft - sizing - wearing - weaving

It is suitable for yarn-dyed staple fiber fabrics. It is characterized by a wide range of yarns, small batches, multiple varieties and multiple colors. It is a common process for yarn-dyed production. Due to the uniaxial sizing of the sizing, the sizing quality and the sizing of the high density fabric are limited.

  8. Staple Yarn Dyeing - Slitting Pulping (Joint) - Reverse Shaft - Piercing - Weaving

It is suitable for strong and medium-thick yarn fabrics, such as yarn-dyed terry fabrics, worsted wool fabrics, and yarn-dyed outer garments. The sizing quality is good and the loom efficiency is high.

  9. Spun yarn yarn dyeing - batch warping - and axial sizing - piercing - weaving

It is suitable for the production of simple color-dyed yarn-dyed products, such as stripe poplin, fine-spun, yarn-dyed oxford and other shirt fabrics. The sizing quality is good, the productivity is high, the cloth machine has less breakage and high efficiency.

  10. Bobbin-warping-slurry-dye-piercing-weaving

This is one of the commonly used processes for producing sturdy (denim), with low investment, low cost and high efficiency. The cheese is produced by air spinning.

  11. Bobbin-ball warping-bundle dyeing--and axial sizing-piercing-weaving

This is also one of the processes for producing sturdy (denim). The characteristics are very small during the dyeing process, the dyeing color difference is small, and the axial mixing effect, the finished product has very small chromatic aberration and the sizing quality is good.

The above is the pre-woven preparation process for air jet loom production. The selection should be based on product development direction, factory actuality and other external conditions for comparison and demonstration, and then make choices to provide a basis for high-speed, high-quality and high-efficiency air jet loom.
